This event was the epitome of, “love is never canceled.” Emily and Abdo had a large wedding planned to celebrate with all their family and friends, but when COVID regulations continued into the winter months of 2020, the two realized that thier wedding would be much more intimate than they imagined. As with all COVID weddings, Emily and Abdo had to change their plans and go with the flow. They decided a Woodland Hills sunset backyard wedding with loved ones was their new dream.
This wedding is a gorgeous example of practicing COVID guidelines while also celebrating love! The bride’s wedding gown is from Marchesa and the classic, romantic style was stunning throughout the whole night. The tent created an intimate scene, candles enhanced the atmosphere, and the band kept everyone on the dance floor all night!
Emily and Abdo's sophisticated backyard wedding proves that amidst the chaos and unknowns of the pandemic, it is possible to have the wedding of your dreams. Capturing this day was a reminder that you can have luxury and intimacy all in one.
When I came home from their wedding I kept telling my husband how much I adored these two and their families — especially Abdo's father. This man was the kindest, most fun loving family man that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting or photographing. Tragically, Abdo's father passed away shortly after their wedding. I loved photographing him, and you can see why. He has this infectious love for his family that was so present on their day. Abdo inherited his wedding ring, a piece I am sure he will cherish forever.
Yes, these images look good on a feature or on a blog, but knowing these are framed in their homes is the greatest honor of all. Thank you for trusting me with your precious memories, Hajj Family!

There's something to be said about a love that has the power to affect everyone around it. The intimacy and emotion shared at Hanna and Kathryn's wedding in Asheville, North Carolina did just that.
Lindy is my best friend and getting to photograph her beautiful Tahoe wedding was one of the greatest honors of my life. I was a matron of honor and the lead photographer (yeah, it was as insane but awesome as it sounds)!

The cliffs of Montecito boast a spectacular and endless view of the Pacific Ocean, making it the perfect location for an event that symbolizes a bond just as beautiful, raw, and infinite as those blue waters.
It is so much fun working with amazing partners in the industry and becoming great friends. What is even better? Having the honor of capturing their wedding day. Congratulations Victoria and Wes!
Kassi & Ty’s wedding blended the classic elements of LA with their unique style, representing who they are as a couple. From Kimpton Everly Hotel to Ebell of Los Angeles, the wedding was classic Hollywood style with tons of charm!
From stunning intricate details and intimate sunset photos to unique and touching speeches, Laura and Paul’s wedding was a truly magical event. Even with a small party of ten, they sure brought the party and celebration!
One of those "everything got changed because of Covid" weddings, but a perfect day because of the joy radiating from the bride & groom. A romantic, rainy Boston day made this wedding one to love.
