Lindy + Shane

I am so excited to be sharing this wedding here on my blog. Lindy is my best friend and getting to photograph this day was one of the greatest honors of my life. My husband Shea is also best friends with Shane, and our dogs are pretty much inseparable. So you could say we're really all one happy family — haha!
I was a matron of honor and the lead photographer, shooting the whole wedding in my dress and heels (yeah, it was as insane but awesome as it sounds). And I had help from my life-saving second shooters Ally and Jasmine!
Lindy's dad has a house in Lake Tahoe, so this was a really special location for them and was the perfect place to commit to forever with each other! Not to mention the mountains, trees, and lake in the background made for some stunning images.
Shane had so much fun with his getting ready images, and given that their pit bulls are basically their children, these are some of their favorite wedding day photos.
Lindy has four sisters she is really close with, so she chose to do a first look with them and their dad, which, as you can see from the photos, was really beautiful and emotional.
Lindy and Shane decided not to do a first look with just the two of them, and instead read private vows to each other on a boat out on Lake Tahoe after the ceremony. Perks of being your best friend's wedding photographer: getting in on all the moments ;)
Shane's father married them, and they recessed to "Love is All You Need" by the Beatles, the same song that played at Lindy's mom's funeral. Lindy's sisters gifted her with a locket with a photo of their mother inside. These subtle acts of remembrance touched everyone in attendance.
Lindy didn't leave the dance floor the entire night (that's my girl) and actually ended up having burns on her feet from from dancing so hard!
These photos truly capture the love, laughter, and meaning that surrounded this day, and I am so honored to have been the one to photograph these two. Thank you Lindy and Shane for trusting me on your day — here's to a lifetime more or memories together!
With Love,
Lauren
One of those "everything got changed because of Covid" weddings, but a perfect day because of the joy radiating from the bride & groom. A romantic, rainy Boston day made this wedding one to love.
One of the best things about Malibu is that we can have photoshoots on the beach in any season! Southern California beaches are an amazing shoot location all year round.
There's something to be said about a love that has the power to affect everyone around it. The intimacy and emotion shared at Hanna and Kathryn's wedding in Asheville, North Carolina did just that.
We watched the sun set over San Diego as Rachel and Jon got to relive old memories aboard the SSV Robert C. Seamans while also looking ahead to their future marriage together.

From the picturesque hills of Irvine to Laguna’s sprawling beaches, follow along as I capture Jessica and Shawn’s love during their engagement session. California’s natural beauty really showed off for us, too.
Featured in Junebug Weddings, Emily and Abdo's sophisticated backyard wedding proves that amidst the unknowns of the pandemic, it is possible to have the wedding of your dreams.
The cliffs of Montecito boast a spectacular and endless view of the Pacific Ocean, making it the perfect location for an event that symbolizes a bond just as beautiful, raw, and infinite as those blue waters.
An enchanting engagement shot in Brazos Bend State Park right outside of Houston, Texas. We laughed through the heat and mosquitos and ended with some incredible images they'll cherish forever.
